Base salary range: $104,604 - $135,987

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

Supports the Security Officer in providing leadership in the formulation, evaluation and implementation of protective security policies, initiatives and procedures for the agency.
Supervisory work and related managerial responsibilities constitute a major duty and occupy at least 25% of work time. See DUTIES for additional responsibilities of this position.
To qualify for this GS-14 Supervisory Physical Security Specialist position you must demonstrate at least 52 weeks of Specialized Experience gained in a federal position at or above GS-13 OR (if your position and/or experience is in another federal pay scale OR outside of federal service) by performing duties at a level of responsibility and difficulty equivalent to GS-13.
Such experience should primarily consist of reviewing and analyzing physical security administrative operations, including state-of-the-art equipment, procedures or techniques.
Specialized Experience must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
If you have federal status and are applying for promotion, you must have at least 52 weeks at GS-13 (OR 52 weeks in a federal position equivalent to GS-13 as determined by this office).
