The primary purpose of this position, SUPERVISORY INTEGRATED OPERATIONAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST NH-0601-03, is to serve as the Team Manager of a multidisciplinary Integrated Operational Support (IOS) team directly supporting the Line of the Air Force (LAF) mission assigned to Hill Air Force Base (AFB) Operational Support Team (OST) program.

Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Professional and Scientific Positions and General Medical and Healthcare Series 0601 BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree with the major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position.

This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in other pay systems.

Examples of specialized experience is described as: the ability to use a wide range of concepts, principles, or methodologies of health sciences to plan, coordinate, conduct, and integrate evidence-based Integrated Operational Support (IOS) programs, including project development and execution, training, analytical evaluation, and advisory services; assisting with methods and processes to perform specialized assignments of an advanced nature and difficulty involving in-depth needs assessments and/or workplace assessments.

Experience with operations and culture and the unique stressors placed upon personnel in an operational workplace.

NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1.

Professional knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, or methodologies of health sciences in order to plan and integrate the OST program including project development and execution, training, analytical evaluation, and advisory services.

2. Knowledge of military organization, populations, and culture, and the unique stresses placed upon workers in an operational military workplace. 3.

Knowledge of the program planning process and evidence-based methods to mitigate risks and stressors in occupational workplaces. 4.

Skill in conducting research, anticipating changes and new developments, developing unit plans, evaluating effectiveness, coordinating work, and reviewing technical reports. 5.

Skill in collecting data, conducting substantial problem analysis and program evaluation to identify adverse trends, ineffective practices or procedures, and shortcomings; performing data analysis and developing presentations using current information technology and computers effectively; and communicating results orally and in writing.

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.

You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Major Duties:

Plan, coordinate, market, and conduct evidence-based OST programs and services aimed at increasing squadron/unit psychological and musculoskeletal resilience and reducing military occupation related injuries.

Oversee and evaluate unit and mission effectiveness.

Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the OST ensuring that the strength and conditioning and mental health activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.

Exercise a variety of leadership and/or supervisory personnel management-related responsibilities. Collect complicated, conflicting or insufficient data, user feedback, or other relevant factors.
