Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team in the Bureau of Naval Personnel to handle hiring, staffing, and other human resources tasks for civilian employees in the Navy.
You'll advise managers on HR policies, ensure everything follows federal rules, and solve complex problems in recruitment and placement.
It's a great fit for experienced HR professionals with supervisory skills who enjoy working in a government setting focused on military support.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOUCES SPECIALIST in the HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION, TOTAL FORCE HUMAN RESOURCES AND MANPOWER of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading or supervising others in performing internal/external recruitment, selection, placement, and personnel processes to meet an organization's federal civilian hiring needs; 2) Providing technical expertise to specialists to assist with solving difficult or unusual federal recruitment and placement problems; 3) Providing expert advisory services to management on a wide range of complex Human Resources (HR) programs/data calls; and 4) Ensuring federal civilian recruitment and placement actions follow Merit Systems Principles and avoid Prohibited Personnel Practices.
