Full Job Description

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the TECHNOLOGY ACQUISITION DIVISION of COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing program strategies and managing budget preparation and execution for a command.

  • You will be responsible for the research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT/E) of equipment tactics, techniques and procedures in support of Naval Special Warfare (NSW) and Maritime Special Operations Forces (SOF).
  • You will include requirements definition, budget development, program execution, program management, and program transition from research and development to fielded systems.
  • You will manage and direct efforts of field activities; assists in the development of test plans and analyzing test results.
  • You will direct. manage, and evaluate acquisition initiatives having immediate and long-term effect on NSW, SOF, and the expenditure of considerable resources that often results in changing NSW tactics and doctrine.
  • You will recognize trade-offs between what is optimal versus acceptable with regard to performance, cost and schedule constraints.
