The mission of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) is to provide force protection, security, and law enforcement to safeguard personnel, facilities, infrastructure, and other resources for the Pentagon Reservation and designated DoW facilities (hereinafter referred to as "the Pentagon Facilities") within the National Capital Region (NCR).
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
You may qualify at the GS-15 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability in 1) management and oversight of acquisition, facilities and logistics programs.
2) making executive-level decisions performing strategic analysis of administrative programs 3) applying analytical and evaluative methods to a broad range of law enforcement and security matters.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: The incumbent has direct responsibility for assisting the Assistant Director, Mission Integration, in the management and oversight of Acquisition and Requirements; Facilities, Safety, and Logistics; and Administrative Services.
Provides guidance and assistance to PFPA staff members with administrative responsibilities within their staff purview.
Establishes and interprets project data to ensure resultant programs meet PFPA goals and requirements.
Evaluates performance of subordinate supervisors and reviews evaluations made by subordinate supervisors of other employees on work and administrative matters.
