Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing administrative programs like directives, forms, and travel operations for a naval ship repair facility in Japan, including reviewing policies, providing training, and handling financial recommendations.
A good fit would be someone with experience in government administration, strong writing skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a structured environment.
Note that medical and dental care is very limited in this overseas location.
You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DIVISION (CODE 1130), ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT (CODE 1100) ofNAVAL SHIP REPAIR FACILITY .

Please see Additional Information section below.*** Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate performing the following duties: 1) Providing recommendations to support financial decisions with limited or conflicting guidance; 2) Supporting multiple programs simultaneously with measurable results; and 3) Practical experience writing procedure manuals, training documentation, or other formal correspondence utilizing effective writing & grammar skills.
This position requires the ability to type at least 45 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
