Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves overseeing and scheduling maintenance and repair work on Navy ships to ensure everything runs smoothly and meets contract standards.
You'll coordinate teams, solve production issues, and prioritize tasks to keep ships ready for operations.
It's a great fit for someone with experience in shipbuilding or repair projects who enjoys planning and problem-solving in a technical environment.
You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS) in the NORTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER (NWRMC), Code 101, of PSNS and IMF.
GS 12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical oversight and evaluation of shipbuilding or ship repair contracts to include planning and executing surveillance of contractor operations to determine and assure that all products, services, and specification requirements conform to the contract, in order to ensure operational readiness.
GS 11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: supporting the planning and evaluation of shipbuilding or ship repair contracts to include participating in the surveillance of contractor operations to verify that products, services, and specification requirements conform to the contract, in order to support operational readiness.
