This job involves working as a representative for contracting officers in the U.S.
Navy, where you'll monitor contractors to make sure projects finish on time, stay within budget, and follow all rules on quality, safety, and finances.
You'll help review proposals, inspect work, and keep detailed records to support smooth contract execution at a naval shipyard in Hawaii.

You will serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative in the Contracting Department (Code 400) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Salary Clarification: GS-09: $64,438 - $83,774 GS-11: $77,964 - $101,359 GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector overseeing and evaluating contractor performance, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, in compliance with procurement and acquisition laws, and meets quality and safety standards throughout the contract lifecycle.
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in the oversight of contracted work, supporting efforts to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, complies with procurement and acquisition laws, and meets quality and safety standards.
