Full Job Description

You will serve as a Security Specialist (SCI) in the Commander, Airborne Command Control and Logistics Wing of COMAEWINGPAC.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing security guidance by initiating and implementing policies and procedures to manage sensitive compartmented information (SCI) programs that protect information, materials and processes in order to improve security operations and the commands mission..

  • You will perform security work directed towards protecting highly defined information, materials, equipment, and processes by applying specifically tailored security criteria.
  • You will be the primary source of expertise for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Category (SPECAT) matters.
  • You will perform variety of security functions and specialized duties related to the unique operational and administrative requirements of assigned programs.
  • You will be the source of expertise for all Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) matters related to security and responsible for the implementation of very sensitive, highly classified information supporting the command.
  • You will provide security management, training, and administrative expertise for the implementation of SCI within the command, its staff, and throughout the fleet squadrons.
  • You will maintain personnel records related to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access and provides risk evaluation for personnel security regarding foreign nationals, foreign travel, and liaises with NCIS as necessary.
  • You will develop, implement and support Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security training geared to the unique needs of security personnel of operational units or activities.
  • You will develop and present indoctrinations of highly technical and sensitive special programs with specialized briefings.
  • You will serve as the Site Security Manager for any and all military construction projects, renovations, and modifications made to facilities.
