Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves coordinating employee relations for about 930 union workers at a state human services center, including handling grievances, running meetings, and training staff on policies.
You'll support managers and employees by analyzing issues and recommending solutions to keep things running smoothly.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive Employee Relations Program working as a technical support for management, supervisors, and employees.
Work involves analyzing problems, making recommendations in conjunction with the Field Human Resource Officer, and providing essential support to department heads and staff at all levels.
You will also have the opportunity to establish and maintain working relationships with management and union representatives, ensuring consistent and favorable communication.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week, upon successful completion of a 180-day probationary period.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office at the Ebensburg Center. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
