The Department of Corrections Human Resource (DOC HR) office is seeking a Human Resource Analyst 1 with excellent communication skills and exceptional work ethic to join our team.
While working within the Talent Management Division in the DOC HR Office, you will be providing talent planning services, including talent acquisition actions submitted by the DOC.

As a Human Resource Analyst 1, you will be tasked with identifying issues related to employee retention, recruitment challenges, insufficient candidate pools, improperly skilled or trained candidates and employees, performance management issues, and other issues potentially impacting talent acquisition and retention.
Work includes consulting with various HR staff and agency program managers to develop solutions to identified issues as well as analyzing the workforce and related data and information.
You will have the opportunity to serve as a talent acquisition analyst responsible for meeting the talent acquisition goals of the DOC, to include the filling of civil and non-civil service positions.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to hiring managers regarding hiring options associated with posting and filling vacancies, as well as interviewing and selecting candidates.
You will be tasked with ensuring a cohesive and consistent approach is maintained will all hiring activities as well as following agency policies and processes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Mechanicsburg.
The selected candidate may have the opportunity to be assigned to an authorized field site. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
