Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

You'll advise leaders on HR policies, develop recruitment strategies, and train staff on staffing procedures.

You will serve as a HR SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT/CLASSIFICATION) in the Human Resource Office, Staffing and Classification Branch of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying the full range of position management principles, concepts, practices and techniques to provide management advice and guidance on issues and insight related to human resource policies, practices and procedures, Your resume must also show experience applying a wide variety of recruitment and placement concepts, principles, laws, regulations, and practices sufficient to solve recruitment problems and make recommendations.
Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Develop and conduct training in personnel staffing policies and procedures; 2) Carry out HR functions related to strategic workforce planning; 3) Design, develop, implement and track strategic/business human resources plans to recruit, develop and retain personnel; and 4) Develops new or modified human resources work methods, approaches, or procedures for delivering effective services to customers.
