This position is located at the Peak but may fill other vacancies in the Business Recreation Division. Join our team at the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: work experience directly related to banquet service, to include but not limited to: event set-up, scheduling of resources, payment posting, linen control, accounting for equipment, etc.

Major Duties:

  • Directs and oversees all aspects of banquet staff management, including delegation of duties, performance monitoring, and scheduling to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Accountable for the complete event lifecycle, from initial set-up and management of props to final breakdown, with the flexibility to serve in various roles such as Server, Bartender, or Cashier as required.
  • Acts as the event Manager on Duty, engaging directly with guests to ensure satisfaction while also managing administrative tasks including labor, linen control, and payment postings.
  • Responsible for upholding departmental standards, reporting and correcting any staff issues, and proactively recommending procedural and service improvements to enhance revenue and guest experience.
