Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the RADIOLOGICAL CONTROLS DEPARTMENT of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF).

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting analytical studies of program operations and work processes, in order to identify, analyze and recommend solutions in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of an organizational structure.

  • You will perform a full range of analytical duties pertaining to but not limited to: Recruitment; Training; Productivity Improvement; Leave Administration; Pay Administration; and Performance Management.
  • You will conduct studies of issues to assist management in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of their organization’s performances, procedures, and functions.

  • You will conduct manpower studies/reviews in the context of knowledge, skills, abilities, speed, volume, and quality requirements of the work processes as opposed to cost effectiveness.
  • You will develop new administration methods and approaches and evaluation criteria which serve as precedent for others.
  • You will identify a need for and know where or how to gather information, organize and maintain information or information management systems, and determine its importance and accuracy, and communicate it by a variety of methods.
  • You will convey written information in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience, using correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • You will express thoughts persuasively and use effective modes to reinforce message retention.
  • You will develop the competencies of others to perform and contribute to the organization by inspiring and providing a learning environment of ongoing feedback and opportunities to learn through formal and informal methods.
