Job Description

Summary

This job involves overseeing the full lifecycle of a special government contract program called S2MARTS, from planning and execution to ensuring it meets defense goals and legal standards.

You'll lead teams, manage schedules and resources, and work closely with partners to deliver prototypes on time while keeping everyone aligned.

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Global Deterrence & Defense Department (GX), Strategic Program Management Division (GXL) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing various acquisition strategies and evaluating technical project resource requirements to develop, plan and execute project schedule, milestones and deliverables to improve efficiency and execution of program operations.
