Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing the configuration of naval aircraft programs, ensuring everything from planning and procurement to testing and operations runs smoothly by coordinating with teams, contractors, and agencies.
You'll analyze program progress, handle budgets, and create reports to keep leaders informed on technical, financial, and schedule details.

You will serve as a Configuration Management Program Analyst in the Systems Acquisition Group, Program Management Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage weapon systems acquisition; (2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies while serving as a liaison between program offices, contractors, and suppliers on all matters related to program planning; 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a Command.
