Full Job Description


This employee will be responsible for performing procurement duties as assigned, and reviewing and analyzing all aspects of the Agency P-Card Program.

Job Duties Include:
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on all aspects of the Agency P-Card Program as directed.
  • Monitoring monthly p-card statement submissions for all cardholders, and tracking late submissions.
  • Creating and managing funds reservations and purchase orders.
  • Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures/desk manual for purchase sampling, reporting, and monitoring.
  • Assisting with the implementation of Agency P-Card policies, procedures and processes.
  • Assisting with any close out functions for the fiscal year and any audits or reviews of the Agency P-Card Program by entities outside of the Agency Procurement Department.

Requirements

A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for required work experience. Working knowledge of the SC Consolidated Procurement Code rules, regulations and provisions highly desirable.

Qualifications

Three (3) years experience working in SC governmental procurement and two (2) years managing aspects of an Agency P-Card Program. Knowledge of the SC Consolidated Procurement Code and Policies and the State P-Card Policy. One (1) year of experience working in the SC Enterprise Information System (SCEIS)/SRM with an emphasis on purchase order (PO) processing.
