Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading the design and integration of systems for aircraft carriers, ensuring everything works together smoothly from the shipbuilder's viewpoint.
You'll set engineering rules, solve tough technical problems, and represent the Navy in key decisions about ship building and upgrades.

You will serve as a NAVAL ARCHITECT for Aircraft Carrier Ship Design Engineering Division (SEA 05V1), Aircraft Carrier Design & Systems Engineering Group (SEA 05V), Naval Systems Engineering Directorate (SEA 05) of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer managing systems engineering projects to support the design, development, or maintenance and modernization of ships or ship systems.
