Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of engineers to plan and oversee maintenance, repairs, and upgrades for ships and submarines in the U.S. Navy, ensuring everything is done accurately and on time.
A good fit would be an experienced naval architect or engineer who enjoys managing projects, mentoring staff, and advising on technical ship design issues.
It requires strong leadership skills and a background in structural engineering for naval vessels.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NAVAL ARCHITECT in code 250.6, Structural Engineering/Planning Division of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer planning and coordinating ship or submarine maintenance, repair, modernization, or overhaul projects to ensure technical accuracy and timely completion.
