We’re looking for a skilled Identity & Access Management (IAM ) Engineer to help power and protect the university’s digital ecosystem.
In this hands-on technical role, you’ll design, build, and maintain secure identity solutions that support students, faculty, researchers, and staff.
If you’re passionate about automation, scalable architecture, and building secure identity lifecycle solutions using Oracle technologies, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in higher education.
What You’ll Do
• Design and engineer enterprise identity solutions using Oracle Identity Manager (OIM ), Oracle Unified Directory (OUD ), and Single Sign-On (SSO )
• Develop and customize OIM components, including:
• Event handlers
• Custom connectors
• Scheduled jobs
• API integrations
• Workflow enhancements
• Implement SCIM -based provisioning to automate identity lifecycle processes
• Build and manage identity and compliance reports using OIM BI Publisher
• Administer and optimize Oracle Unified Directory, including schema management, synchronization, replication, and performance tuning
• Integrate IAM systems with Active Directory, LDAP , SAML , OAuth, and SSO solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed IAM environments
• Partner with cross-functional IT teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions aligned with university policies and standards
What You Bring
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience
(Equivalent combinations of certification, training, education, and experience will be considered.)
Preferred
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline
• 1–2 years of direct experience with Oracle Identity Manager (OIM ) development
• Oracle Certified Professional (OIM or IAM Suite)
Technical Expertise
• Deep understanding of OIM architecture and identity lifecycle management
• Strong Java/J2EE development skills for OIM customization
• Experience developing identity governance and compliance reports
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Unified Directory (OUD )
• Solid foundation in IAM standards and protocols (LDAP , SAML , OAuth, SSO )
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
• Ability to translate technical solutions for business stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 1-2 years of direct experience with Oracle Identity Manager (OIM ) development.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OIM or IAM Suite) – preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Expert-level understanding of Oracle Identity Manager (OIM ) architecture, components, and end-to-end identity lifecycle processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Java/J2EE programming for OIM customization, including event handlers, custom connectors, scheduled jobs, and API integrations.

• Solid experience in identity and access management (IAM ) technologies, including Active Directory, LDAP , SAML , OAuth, and Single Sign-On (SSO ) solutions.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues in distributed Identity and Access Management (IAM ) environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives effectively.
