This job involves leading a team to manage planning, policies, and daily operations for Pennsylvania's state-funded health care programs, including setting payment rates for medical services and creating guidelines for providers.
You'll develop rules, oversee system updates, and ensure everything runs smoothly to support public health assistance.

In this position, you will oversee all aspects of planning, policy, and program management, including the development and maintenance of the regulatory and operational base for federally and state-funded physical health Medical Assistance (MA) program services.
Responsibilities include supervising procedure code evaluations related to the development and maintenance of the MA program fee schedule.
This role requires strong analytical and interpretive skills, sound independent judgment, and a high level of initiative.
You will develop and recommend policy positions and guidance, as well as participate directly in the creation of operational procedures, provider payment rates, and automated systems applications.
You will also plan, organize, and direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of program policies.
This includes issuing directives and procedures, creating regulations, and developing user designs for automated systems.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
