About the Position: Serves as a Human Resources Assistant for a Health Care Recruiting Team (HCRT), whose primary mission is to recruit health care professionals for appointment into the US Army (Active and/or Reserve).

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) verifying medical information for pre-credentialing for health care providers, such as: evaluating education and requirements for licensure, certification of registration applications, reviewing documents, etc.; 2) process applications, assist applicants completing required forms, extract medical information from databases such as: professional groups, associations and educational institutions; 3) utilizing office automation to run reports and/or data entry; and identifying issues to provide recommendations.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Major Duties:
