This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), FINANCE & INTERNAL CONTROLS DIVISION (CG-DCS-82) located in Washington, District of Columbia.
EDUCATION: AND To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the federal or private sector.

NOTE: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level. Major Duties:
You will serve as a Financial Mgmt Specialist and be responsible for providing management of all shore construction funds provided under the Procurement, Construction and Improvement (PC&I) appropriation and Coastal and Shore (CSO) budgets.
Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
Typical work assignments include: Developing, reviewing, and preparing budget and financial statements related to the Coast Guard Procurement, Construction, and Improvement (PC&I) appropriation.
Monitoring the use and rate of expenditure of budgeted funds in assigned areas.
Performing budget execution phase functions Developing plans and making recommendations to resource and project management offices Establishing quality controls over the accuracy and completeness of products.
