Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-12. Expert-level knowledge in field.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves providing expert technical advice and support to shape engineering strategies for the Navy's information warfare systems, ensuring they work well together and meet high standards.
It focuses on assessing risks, recommending solutions, and guiding teams on major Navy projects related to combatant ship technologies.
A good fit would be an experienced engineer, scientist, or IT specialist with a strong background in defense systems and a passion for solving complex technical challenges in a military context.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Influencing engineering and technical strategies, procedures, interests, and/or plans to implement key Information Warfare (IW) units; demonstrating capabilities and limitations, evaluate technical risks/issues, and/or recommend mitigation/resolution strategies.
