Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves analyzing military objectives, collecting data, and using computer models to test new system ideas that make naval operations more effective.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing operational objectives and conditions, choosing appropriate data collection methods, and evaluating new system concepts using modeling and simulation tools to improve effectiveness.
