As a Driver License Examiner Assistant, you will employ superior customer service skills to respond to customer inquiries and provide essential assistance with a wide-range of application processes.
Specific duties entail confirming applicant identification, ensuring for the proper completion of application forms, and accurately entering test results and customer data into the online driver license application software.
Additional responsibilities encompass administering standardized knowledge assessments to gauge the applicant's comprehension of vehicle code, driving regulations, and relevant traffic control devices.
A vision screening for visual acuity will be conducted for all applicants utilizing a telebinocular instrument.
You will also provide customers with information or services relating to driver’s license or identification card renewals, duplicates, out-of-state transfers, and obtaining and maintaining CLD and motorcycle licenses.
A concrete understanding of various commercial license requirements, restrictions, and endorsements is vital in order to best serve the inquiring public.
Within this role, it is essential to adhere to all components of the Driver and Vehicle Services’ Customer Service Policy.
