This job involves analyzing and improving the dispatch operations program at a power administration, where you'll advise leadership on processes, ensure everything runs efficiently and complies with rules, and coordinate with teams inside and outside the organization.

This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration in Real Time Operations (TOR) organization of Transmission System Operations (TO), Transmission Services (T).
A successful candidate in the Dispatch Process Analyst position will serve as the Dispatch Process Analyst and as a special assistant, advisor and expert policy and planning consultant to the Director, Real-Time Operations.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience providing analysis, management, integration, and consultation on the efficiency of a technical operations program to guide process improvements, gain and maintain procedural compliance, and represent and advocate for the program with internal and external contacts.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience.
Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations.
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

As a Dispatch Process Analyst, you will: Plan, implement, and evaluate the entire Dispatch program.
Review and analyze contractor estimates and recommends approval/disapproval of contractor plans for using resources.
Ensure all strategy, policies, and operations are fully integrated and coordinated both with organizational elements and with other programs and activities.
Continually reviews and assesses all aspects of Dispatch's programs, including compliance with industry standards and guidelines Lead studies and analyses to determine the root-causes of problems, and develop and present to management proposed solutions.
