This job involves monitoring security alarms, CCTV cameras, and emergency communication systems at a Marine Corps air station in South Carolina, while dispatching help for police, fire, medical, and other urgent situations.

You will serve as an Alarm Monitor/ Dispatcher in the Plans, Policies, and Operations (Security) of MCAS BEAUFORT SC.
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following duties: 1) Monitoring and troubleshooting electronic security systems, Intrusion Detection System, alarm, mass notification and CCTV systems; 2) Receiving and processing incoming fire alarms, 911 calls, emergency and non-emergency requests for police, fire, medical emergencies or incidents, airfield emergencies and environmental and hazardous materials incidents; and 3) Dispatching personnel and apparatus to emergencies, record data, events and logs and initiate instructions to callers for fire, medical and police emergencies.
