Full Job Description

You will serve as a COMBINED TRADES SUPERVISOR II in the NUCLEAR PRODUCTION OFFICE of PSNS and IMF. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-12873942-26-WFG.

  • You will plan overall work assignments on an immediate and long-range basis in accordance with established schedule requirements taking into consideration available supervisors, workers, equipment, facilities, materials, and tools.
  • You will establish, assign, and explain work requirements to subordinate supervisors, setting deadlines, priorities, and sequences to be followed for work operations.
  • You will identify training and qualification needs of subordinates.
  • You will maintain liaison with key management personnel in all Shipyard department, offices, and divisions, including Production Resources Shop Process Managers, Nuclear Directors, and other supervisors.
  • You will ensure that any required historical logs are maintained and that all work control documents (i.e., lagging requests, inter-shop work requests, discrepancy reports, etc).
