This job is an entry-level administrative role in Pennsylvania's Department of State, where you'll help review campaign finance and lobbying reports for accuracy and legal compliance, prepare lists of violations for legal action, and assist customers with inquiries via phone, email, or in person.

In this Administrative Assistant 1 role, you will provide administrative support to the Office of Campaign Finance and Lobbying Disclosure.
Work involves reviewing campaign finance reports and lobbying disclosure reports for accuracy, inconsistencies, and violations of the law.
Then you will prepare a list of reports and disclosures that have failed to comply with applicable laws and standards to file list for the Attorney General’s Office.
This includes pulling files and documents from online and researching the list to ensure all registrants should be referred for non-payment.
You will also assist customers at the front desk, over the phone, and via email by researching and analyzing each request, then preparing a response or recommendations for solutions as necessary.
Our team will also rely on you to serve as our office’s requisitioner, as well as assist managers with quality assurance testing for internal databases and makes recommendations based on results.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to two days per week, after successful completion of full-time in-office training.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
