Summary

This job is for a senior corrections officer at a reentry center in Wenatchee, Washington, where you'll help supervise and support individuals transitioning back into the community after incarceration.

Corrections and Custody Officer 3 - Reentry - Position #SI30
Reentry Division - Wenatchee Valley Reentry Center
Wenatchee, Washington

The Department of Corrections (DOC) has a permanent, full time Corrections and Custody Officer 3 opening available within the Reentry Division. Position SI30 is located at the Wenatchee Valley Reentry Center in Wenatchee, WA. Hours of work are 1300 - 2300, Wednesday - Saturday. Work hours are determined by unit needs and are at the discretion of the unit supervisor. If you are currently working an alternate work schedule, please be aware that this position may not be able to honor that schedule. For questions, please contact the Human Resource Office.

In accordance with Article 4.7 of the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE) 2025-27 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), this job opening is available to internal transfer candidates ONLY. Employees who meet the following criteria may apply:

  • You are requesting a transfer under Article 4.7 of the WFSE CBA.
  • You are a permanent DOC employee.
  • You currently hold permanent status in the class being recruited for in this job posting.
  • You are currently in a position represented by WFSE.
