Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading ship repair and maintenance projects at a naval facility in Japan, overseeing everything from planning and budgeting to ensuring the work gets done on time and meets quality standards.
It's ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in managing large-scale industrial or maritime projects, who can handle complex teams and resources in a high-stakes environment.
Note that medical and dental care is very limited there, so it's best for those comfortable with overseas assignments.
You will serve as a Waterfront Operations Project Superintendent in the Division, Code 310, Waterfront Operations Department Code, 300 ofNAVAL SHIP REPAIR FACILITY .

Please see Additional Information section below.*** Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing and overseeing all aspects of CNO maintenance availabilities, such as complex industrial or ship maintenance life-cycle projects, modernization, and repair projects including planning, costs, schedule, performance management, engineering, production, testing, and certification of work accomplished by production shops.
