Base salary range: $33,878 - $44,042

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This entry-level role involves helping Navy personnel and their families with moving household goods and transportation needs, such as coordinating shipments and answering questions about relocation services.
You'll communicate directly with people to understand their requirements and ensure contractors follow government rules for handling moves.
It's a good fit for someone with customer service experience who is comfortable using basic computer tools and enjoys assisting others in a supportive, organized environment.
You will serve as a Transportation Assistant (Counselor) of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Transportation Assistant (Counselor) Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) using basic job-relevant information systems and/or software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, automated research tools, database applications, and the internet; 2) clearly articulating and presenting in written form, information relevant to the position; 3) assisting customers with routine requests.
