About the Position: Vogelweh, Germany, is a large U.S. military complex within the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC), located in west-central Germany.

It's one of several military areas and houses the Vogelweh Military Family Housing area.

Federal employees in Vogelweh, Germany are currently entitled to receive a 42% Post Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary.

Major Duties:

  • Compile student statistical data and participate in forecasting transportation requirements.
  • Utilize transportation software programs to enter and retrieve transportation data.
  • Record data on forms to evaluate the quality of student transportation services provided.
  • Prepare descriptive route maps and narrative summaries for distribution.
  • Perform periodic route safety and efficiency reviews, optimize routes, and recommend commuting area and route changes.
  • Arrange nonrecurring transportation services supporting curricular field trips, co-curricular sports, and academic enrichment activities.
  • Participate with school representatives in monitoring and evaluating student transportation requirements and effectiveness.
  • Conduct day-to-day operations for designated schools to provide timely and efficient transportation service.
