Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as a training specialist for the Navy, where you'll review and update educational programs, manage student records, and create tools like schedules and reports to ensure effective technical training.

You will serve as a Training Specialist in the Center for Service Support (CSS) of NTTC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing and revising Navy instructional systems and curricula, with strong knowledge of educational testing and evaluation for Naval technical training; 2) Familiar with Navy policies, organizational structure, and procedures related to training, as well as accreditation requirements like COE; 3) Utilizing training management systems such as CeTARS and collaborating effectively with instructional specialists and other military branches; and 4) Excellent oral and written communication skills enable clear coordination across military and civilian personnel to support command missions and training goals.
