Base salary range: $41,966 - $54,557
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-6. Bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement or 1 year graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

It's an entry-level federal role focused on supporting sailors' technical training in California.
You will serve as a Training Specialist in the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) of the MINE WARFARE TRNG CTR.
The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Utilizing conventional and established training methods, techniques, and tools to design and develop training courses and materials; 2) Providing training, support, and evaluation of training programs; 3) Monitoring and evaluating effectiveness of training programs providing recommendations for improvements; and 4) Utilizing training authoring tool software, programs, or database to update, change, revise, or cancel course(s) of instructions and materials.
