Base salary range: $41,966 - $54,557

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves supervising a team in a Navy training command's administrative office, handling tasks like personnel records, pay processing, performance evaluations, and official correspondence for over 1,100 military members.
You'll guide policies, manage projects, and ensure everything runs smoothly while training staff.
It's a good fit for someone with experience in office supervision and government HR who is organized and good at communicating.
You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the ADMINISTRATIVE/PERSONNEL OFFICE of RECRUIT TRAINING COMMAND (RTC).
The administrative/personnel office is responsible for all administrative and personnel processes to include official correspondence, performance evaluations, awards, directives, records management, pay and personnel processes, and service record maintenance.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing Microsoft programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint; 2) Assisting with supervisory direction to include planning and assigning work, and training employees; 3) Communicating effectively orally and in writing to share information, correspondence, and report summarizing issues; 4) Creating and maintaining a variety of tracking systems; 5) Applying knowledge of Navy administration and personnel functions, and Federal Government Civilian HR management.
