Base salary range: $33,878 - $44,042

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing supplies for a naval training command, including handling orders, receiving deliveries, updating records, and solving routine supply issues.
It's a support role where you'll act as the main contact for supply needs in the department.
A good fit would be someone with office experience in inventory or logistics who is detail-oriented and comfortable using computers for tracking items.
You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (OA) in the NAVAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMMAND (NETC) of SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD GREAT LAKES.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Extracting and assembling data for use in preparing requisition documents; 2) Recording transactions in automated system of record, performs follow-ups and general requisition maintenance; 3) Receiving incoming materials from delivery vehicles, distribute within a specified location, and prepare reports of non-delivery, loss, damage and discrepancy; 4) Extracting specific information from databases needed to perform assigned tasks; 5) Preparing and submit requests for contractual procurements to contracting officer including performance of market research; and 6) Resolving recurring problems based on established instructions.
