This job involves leading a team at Pennsylvania's Welcome Centers to help travelers with information on highways, attractions, weather, and lodging, while creating a friendly environment for visitors.

In this position, you will oversee the operations of the PennDOT Welcome Centers, ensuring that your team delivers accurate, efficient, and helpful information to travelers visiting these facilities.
Your role will involve representing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by warmly greeting and assisting guests, while also maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the state's highways, transportation networks, and various public and private attractions, including recreational areas, events, weather updates, accommodations, and tourist sites.
Additionally, you will be responsible for distributing printed materials that enhance visitors' travel experiences.
Your responsibilities will extend to public relations efforts, facilitating both internal and external communications to optimize operations, and participating in quarterly meetings focused on events, programs, and services, among other tasks.Interested in learning more?
