The Department of Human Services is seeking a dedicated Facility Operations Supervisor to join the Selinsgrove Center Maintenance Department.
In this key role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and management of the carpentry trades across the center's grounds.

In this position, you will oversee and supervise carpentry trades, including masonry, welding, painting, roofing, locksmith services, and other related duties such as environmental enhancements.
Responsibilities include planning and supervising asbestos projects, maintaining required records, and ensuring proper training for all asbestos-related work, as well as overseeing preventative maintenance and building renovations.
This role requires independent judgment and decision-making when assigning work, selecting appropriate carpentry methods, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
You must be able to read and interpret blueprints and identify design changes. Supervisory responsibilities may extend to carpenters, maintenance repairmen, painters, and weld shop staff as needed.
Work is performed with a high degree of independence and is reviewed for adherence to established standards, project requirements, and job expectations.
