Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as a technician to troubleshoot and fix issues with specialized equipment on U.S. Navy ships and shore bases, focusing on the Littoral Combat Ship's mission modules.
You'll identify problems, provide maintenance guidance, and ensure systems run smoothly through oversight and solutions.
It's a great fit for someone with hands-on experience in equipment repair and a background in naval or technical support who enjoys problem-solving in a team environment.
You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the Littoral Combat Ship Mission Modules of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03/GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience investigating, analyzing, evaluating, and finding resolution of operational deficiencies caused by malfunctions or casualties in assigned equipment in any life-cycle stage, on ships and shore facilities.
