Job Description

Summary

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying technical engineering procedures by reading, interpreting, or applying technical drawings, diagrams, or specifications in support of technical engineering work (e.g., manufacturing energetic materials) in alignment with organizational requirements.

  • You will use standard practices, guides, and recurring precedents to provide technical support for the manufacture energetic materials.
  • You will be responsible for propellant and explosive mixing, double base propellant extrusion and processing, unit disassembly, hardware preparation, sub-assembly and assembly, and motor load and pack-out.
  • You will lead subtasks of large projects as a member of a technical task team in order to maintain project quality and the implementation of continuous process improvements.
  • You will review tests and test results under the supervision of senior technicans and engineers.
  • You will be part of an immediate work group maintaining product quality and implementing continuous process improvements.
  • You will work toward resolution of problems associated with product quality, design, and adaption of process equipment, under the supervision of senior technicians and engineers.
