Entry salary: $74,441 | Full performance (GS-13): up to $115,079

This job involves managing the entire process of buying goods and services for the Navy, from planning purchases to handling contracts after they're signed, ensuring everything is done legally and cost-effectively.
You'll solve problems in contracts, negotiate deals, and work with various government and industry teams to support naval operations.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-12/13 equivalency), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing the full contracting process-from pre-award to post-award-using formal procedures and negotiation techniques to ensure compliance, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to laws, while providing expert guidance on procurement issues, resolving contract disputes, and recommending solutions for the enhancement or optimization of a naval operations.
