Full Job Description

You will serve as a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL) in the WARFIGHTER DEFENSE/SYSTEM INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT (W), EOD INFORMATION MANAGEMENT DIVISION (W2) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical and administrative leadership to support planning and execution of ordnance or weapon systems program operations for operational effectiveness across the joint enterprise.

  • You will manage relationships with sponsors and program offices, skillfully negotiating cost proposals and tasking orders to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • You will maintain significant engagement in budgetary and project oversight, provide timely updates to management regarding project status, emerging issues, and significant changes.
  • You will provide oversight and direction of detailed task assignment narratives, ensuring the integration of FY budgetary information into the NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS) and other relevant financial or project management systems.
  • You will provide overall project management and oversight for assigned projects, acting as the primary liaison to the sponsor and collaborate with other Warfare Center sites on program-specific proposals and initiatives to drive program advancement.
