This job is for a Technical Director in the Defense Health Agency, where you'll lead technical efforts to modernize healthcare systems for the military, advising top officials on planning and problem-solving for big IT projects.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience 1) Experience as a technical advisor on large-scale, complex IT initiatives, such as program management or system acquisition.
2) Experience providing strategic oversight for the management of systems engineering and/or cybersecurity, and 3) Experience as an expert advisor in high-level engagements with senior officials in government, industry, or scientific sectors.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03).
