This job involves leading technical projects for the Navy's Tomahawk missile systems, including design, testing, integration, and ongoing support to ensure they work effectively in combat scenarios.
You'll act as a key advisor to program offices, manage teams, handle budgets, and deliver updates on progress.
It's a great fit for experienced engineers who enjoy coordinating complex defense projects and have a background in weapons or systems engineering.
You will serve as a Technical Project Manager in the Strike Weapons Division; Digital Engineering Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. ND-05 is equivalent to GS-14/15.
This is an interdisciplinary position and may be filled by a Mechanical Engineer (0830 series), a Computer Engineer (0854 series), or an Electronics Engineer (0855 series) depending upon the qualifications of the candidate.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer coordinating or conducting design, development, test & evaluation, integration, or in-service engineering of combat/weapons systems.
