Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Electronics Warfare (I&EW) Support Branch of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS 11/12 equivalency), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: With demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience leading, mentoring, and evaluating teams; proven program and project management capability planning and executing technical initiatives; and strong technical expertise in submarine imaging and electronic warfare systems, including submarine maintenance and lifecycle upkeep to ensure operational readiness.

  • You will manage the activities of the Submarine Imagining and Electronics Warfare (lEW) Support Branch in the execution of the assigned programmatic and lifecycle waterfront support functional assignments.
  • You will serve as the Submarine lEW Support Branch Head and oversee fleet technical support in Hawaii, Guam, California and Washington.
  • You will provide a broad range of programmatic oversight and support activities related to overall program execution, security, policy, and systems integration of Submarine lEW Systems.
  • You will have responsibilities including personnel oversight, project management, policy development, supervising, mentoring, evaluating and counseling government employees assigned to the Branch.
  • You will plan, implement, and execute technical projects and programs, leading a team of people; implement strategic initiatives, organizational management, mentoring, project management, program execution and budgets.
  • You will plan, define requirements, implement and evaluate performance of contractor services to accomplish assigned workload.
  • You will liaison with sponsors, customers and end users to assure program deliverables and services meet Fleet readiness requirements and assure they remain current and relevant.
  • You will possess effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to conduct briefings for senior staff and flag officers, senior government and contractor representatives.
  • You will execute all Pacific Rim Imagery and Electronic Warfare (lEW) ISE waterfront support.
  • You will manage on-site representatives in several submarine homeports assisting ships force, RMC's, IMF's, and ISEA's with periscopes and Photonics Mast troubleshooting and repair.
  • You will oversee the implementation of engineering change instructions, field changes, and other related support to all lEW systems.
  • You will support the Type Commander through on-site representatives within the Submarine Surveillance Equipment Program (SSEP) and other related programs ensuring the efficacy of deployed IEW systems.
  • You will provide local ISEA directed support for other related IEW efforts including special programs support, certifications, and on-site fleet support.
  • You will direct program assets and USW submarine SME's performing in-service engineering/technical/maintenance/repair support for pre-deployment grooms/certifications on Imagery and Electronic Warfare systems.
