Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing security programs to protect sensitive government information, including classified data, personal details, and unclassified but controlled materials, while conducting investigations and assessments to ensure compliance with national security rules.
You'll work in a naval warfare center, guiding staff and contractors on secure handling practices and recommending fixes for any vulnerabilities.

You will serve as an SECURITY SPECIALIST in the SECURITY DIVISION of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project.
The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Implementing and monitoring security requirements to develop security plans for facilities, locking devices, gates, and monitor physical and information security protection system programs (e.g., PHYSEC, INFOSEC, OPSEC, ATFP, EM/COOP) for the effectiveness and efficiency of established security program.
