About the Position: This position is located at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks.
The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, Missouri. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St.
Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is an hour's drive West of Fort Leonard Wood.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Providing guidance and support on Large Scale Combat Operations to inform Transformation in Contact, Deliberate, and Concept driven transformation; 2) Assisting in Developing Courses of Action for senior leadership to inform the organizations and Combined Arms Center in Transformation in Contact; 3) Supporting multi-component military and civilian professionals in experimentation efforts that inform senior leaders on current and future force capabilities; 4) Identifying training needs of employees, providing guidance on technical and administrative matters.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
