Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Global Deterrence and Defense Department (GX), Fleet Sustainment and Advanced Manufacturing Division (GXN), Project Management Branch (GXNM) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading the planning and execution of projects, programs, or initiatives by managing project resources and quality deliverables to ensure mission objectives are met.

  • You will provide stewardship of capabilities, continuous improvement, and innovation for mission accomplishment and serves as a multifunctional leader within the Division.
  • You will lead branch efforts in business operations and program management within the Division.
  • You will be responsible for facilities management, equipment management, quality compliance, data and information management, Division safety, security compliance and technical rigor, and acquisition management for the Division.
  • You will be responsible for providing leadership in project and program management of various printed circuit boards, cables, polymer and elastomeric products, and undersea sensors for strategic and undersea platforms.
  • You will support large scale acquisition, programmatic support and direct customer interface, financial management, task management, contract management, and fleet support management.
  • You will develop the Branch’s strategy and vision to support programs and policies and be responsible for task execution for the Division while ensuring the branch is in alignment with the Division, Department, and Command Strategic priorities.
